Our pricing model is based exclusively on concurrent connections. This means you can have an unlimited number of students using the active connections purchased with your subscription. The more students you can schedule to share the connections, the more value you get for your subscription cost.

An active connection is defined as a single link, from any computer in the school, and at any time. Schools may run all of their connections simultaneously, but no more, at any one time, than are purchased as part of the subscription.

Word Lab connections are each $40.00 per year. The minimum subscription is $160.

The annual subscription to Word Lab Web includes:

• Word Lab Web Administrator page for each teacher
• Unlimited student licenses (each student has their own Word Lab Home Page)
• Access to all word lists with their activities
• Free updates as new lists and features are added to Word Lab

Sample Configuration

A school wishing to purchase 25 simultaneous connections to Word Lab Web (a school lab for example), could create a setup for eight classrooms. Use Word Lab Web the first hour each day of the week in the lab, then eight teachers with 5 classroom computers each could schedule on-line time for their students in their classrooms by rotating use, as long as they stay within the 25 concurrent computer maximum during the rest of the day. This configuration results in a cost of $5.00 per year per student (for 200 students), assuming a class size of 25 students.

Best results are achieved by students spending about one hour and a half per week using Word Lab. We would be happy to help you design the best configuration for your school's computer infrastructure and budget.
